Security Systems Maintenance

Security Systems Maintenance consists of a series of maintenance services, quality control and management activities, designed to maintain and manage the operational serviceability of all electronic security systems in operation at the client sites guarded by TSSS. Electronic Security Systems require on-going maintenance to ensure effective and efficient operation and the highest possible up-time. The Electronic Security Systems at client sites contribute to the safety and security of the site as a whole and act in support of the security personnel on site to ensure that the overall service provided results in the highest possible level of safety and security. Downtime in Electronic Security Systems therefore poses a significant risk to the overall safety and security of a client site as the security service is only as strong as its weakest component. The weakest component will likely be exploited by criminals in perpetrating a crime.

Security Systems Maintenance involves the outsourcing of all maintenance of the Electronic Security Systems found at the client sites guarded by TSSS. The client remains the owner and custodian of such systems while TSSS will facilitate and co-ordinate the activities necessary to ensure that the systems are in operational order. The cost of maintaining the Electronic Security Systems remains with the client and is charged to the client with respect to each maintenance activity performed. The Security Systems Maintenance service will result in maximum up-time of security systems, total convenience as well as peace of mind to the client.

 The Security Systems Maintenance Process is as follows:

 · Systems requiring  maintenance are identified by TSSS security officers and supervisors, which is then reported to the 24hr TSSS control room for further action.  

·         The TSSS control room will dispatch the affiliated 3rd party maintenance service supplier to the client site and will send through a quotation in respect of the maintenance work to the nominated client contact person for approval.

 

·         Once approved by the client, the TSSS control room will dispatch the affiliated 3rd party maintenance service supplier to the client site for the completion of the approved maintenance work.

 

·         Upon completion, a TSSS supervisor will inspect the work performed and will ensure that the work was performed to TSSS standards. Once satisfied that this is the case the TSSS supervisor will sign off for the work performed and the client will be invoiced for the work performed. In some cases, the client might be requested for a deposit before work commence and then the client will be invoiced for the balance of the amount outstanding at completion of the work.
