The support services included in the monthly guarding fee consists of regular site visits and patrols on site during the visits, perimeter checks, regular training of the security officers and response to the site should something adverse occur. TACTICAL SUPPORT also conducts highly visible operations in the areas that it operates to act as a deterrent and creates additional peace of mind for clients. TACTICAL SUPPORT warning signs are provided and installed around the outside perimeter of the client site to act as a further deterrent to would be criminals.
Each site is equipped with a silent panic button system linked to MONITOR NET, which is used in serious situations or where the security officer is unable to report a situation on the two-way radio. This is a compulsory service for the client at an additional charge.
The armed response package includes unlimited responses to the client's premises upon occurrence of an adverse situation as well as a rendezvous service. Response vehicles also conduct patrols of the areas in which we operate and additional specialised patrols can be arranged for business and residential properties at an additional charge.
TACTICAL SUPPORT response vehicles are equipped with a Motorola mobile two-way radio for communication, an LED Maglite torch with rechargeable batteries, a high-powered search light, a stun gun, a fire extinguisher, a basic first aid kit, hand-cuffs, heavy duty cable ties, a tonfa baton and GPS navigation (if needed by the Supervisor).
In addition to the equipment on the response vehicles, TACTICAL SUPPORT supervisors are equipped with pepper spray, hand cuffs, full combat uniform and cell phone-based panic buttons.
Sites guarded by TACTICAL SUPPORT are equipped with a Guard Track guard monitoring system which is included in the standard monthly fee. The equipment, hardware and installation cost of the system is entirely for the account of TACTICAL SUPPORT. This system is used by security officers and supervisors to record their patrols and the reports, generated by the system, are reviewed by Senior Supervisors to ensure that the services provided by TACTICAL SUPPORT is in line with our service level agreement entered into with the client.
Depending on the size of the client site, security officers are also provided with a mountain bicycle to be used for patrolling the premises. This enables security officers to cover far larger areas in shorter periods of time, ultimately resulting in more frequent patrols being conducted. Additional specialised patrols (in addition to the standard site visits and vehicle patrols) can be arranged with TACTICAL SUPPORT. The patrolling Supervisor will tag a Guard Track clock point situated at the client's premises as proof of visiting the site.
